Mixed Results

I got another handful of pieces out of the kiln yesterday. I love the way the weevil, the rainclouds and the leaf mugs all came out. But... someone at the studio had a piece explode in the kiln and all my mugs got tiny shards of clay stuck to the bottom inside of them. So lame. Also, I had major problems with the glaze on the bowl. I'm not sure why, but the glaze seemed way too watery and it didn't want to adhere to the bisqueware.
